With the return of Gani Lawal, Georgia Tech should have a great season lined up.  Being that it’s Georgia Tech, though, don’t write it down until it’s done.  Still, with one truly great player in Derrick Favors and a lot of pretty darn good ones, they should improve.  If they don’t, the pressure on Paul Hewitt is going to be intense.

Meanwhile, as you know by now, Jeff Teague opted to stay in, much to the apparent surprise of Dino Gaudio, but Greivis Vasquez has pulled out.  Among other things, it means that Maryland has four starters back.  Wake, on the other hand, loses two guys who were potentially all-conference.
