Saturday, October 31st, 2009 by DBR

Duke fans obviously got a big charge out of the 31-3 victory over Virginia last year.  Those who were paying attention understood that Duke was a better team than people realized.
Nonetheless, Virginia seems to persist in seeing that game as a particular embarrassment, and have been pointing at Duke all season.  So while this game [...]

ACC Roundup!

Friday, October 30th, 2009 by DBR

In the first poll of the season, UNC is ranked #4, Duke #8, Georgia Tech #20, and Clemson #24. Maryland just misses at #26. Speaking of Tech, it’s nice to see D’Andre Bell returning.  After his injury scare last season, he’s no doubt thrilled to be back.

Friday, October 30th, 2009 by DBR

This is, according to Barry Jacobs, the first time that the ACC has seen three pairs of brothers as teammates, with the Plumlees at Duke, the Wears at UNC, and the Bookers at Clemson. There are some interesting insights on all three sets of siblings, but the Plumlees are up first.
