John Feinstein, we’re sorry to report, had bypass surgery Monday. He is apparently recovering nicely, but it’s still a difficult surgery and certainly no day at the beach.

We’ve been saying for a while that David Cutcliffe is doing an amazing job. Stan Olson takes a look at the recruiting and sees a surprising change. Vince Oghobaase wasn’t a Cutcliffe recruit, but he has been keenly involved in the improvements at Duke and wants to do special things in his last year.

Lance Stephenson’s trial has been adjourned until July 15th, which could be awkward for him since he planned to pick a school as soon as the trial was over.

Seth Curry is off to a nice start with the USA U19 World Championship Team: in a scrimmage against Croatia, Curry scored 16 to lead his team to victory, 97-68. The U.S. outrebounded Croatia 43-25. A scrimmage is a scrimmage, but that’s still pretty solid.
