Maryland won an important game Wednesday night, defeating Virginia, 87-75. Maryland is now long since past their early struggles, and are working their way back towards tournament consideration. With the win, they move into a four-way tie for fifth place.

Duke welcomes State back to Cameron after a one-year absence, and while Duke is favored, given the history of the rivalry, and State’s improved play, you’d have to be kind of dense to take this game for granted.
