Duke came close to taking the lead late in the second half, but could never quite get over the hump, and Maryland won 85-77, and took fifth place in the conference as well.

It’s hard to understand what’s happened to Florida, but the Gators lost to Tennessee, and lost badly. The final score was 86-76, but at one point it was 58-31Something ugly is happening in Gainesville. After a pretty good season, in the last six games, here’s what’s happened:

Terrible news for near-Devil Shaun Livingston as the Clipper suffered a devastating knee injury. Apparently, there’s a rumor out that Arizona’s Lute Olson has Parkinson’s. Understandably frustrated, Olson has threatened legal action against anyone who spreads this, and has considered authorizing his doctor to make a public statement.

In the latest lacrosse news, defense attorneys filed a motion claiming that the full DNA evidence has still not been turned over. KC Johnson reports that DNA from at least two more men were found in the alleged victim’s (AV) rectum.
