Florida State sounds
as if they’re excited about the upcoming season. Good for them. Nice
to see optimism in Tallahassee. And there’s
a fair amount around Atlanta, too.

I have an extensive ACC Preview posted up at scout.com. It’s a pay
site, but I have a regular column there for those that are interested. I
will have the regular, massive Duke preview up before the first exhibition
game this Sunday here on DBR as per usual.

Shay Selby, one of the top guards from the class of 2008, has committed to Duke. This
will likely be the only traditional guard that Duke will take in this
class, since they’re homing in on a couple of top-10 prospects in the

After the women’s basketball team plays Anderson University this Sunday
(11/5) at 2PM, the official Meet The Team activities will take place,
including autographing posters. Make sure to drop on by for the game,
