The Duke women’s team will get a glimpse of the legendary Kentucky disdain for all things Duke as they will host the Lady Wildcats in Cameron on January 4th.

Chelsea Hopkins has decided to leave Duke. The rising junior will head west to San Diego State, where she will try to restart  her career after injury problems  plagued her at Duke.

It’s unfortunate that Monique Currie didn’t hit her stride until former Duke teammate Alana Beard had to sit out with an injury, but she is off to a great season with the Mystics.

Former Duke assistant LaVonda Wagner, following numerous complaints about her management of the Oregon State program, has been fired.

This is really sad if true: former Duke women’s assistant Lavonda Wagner, now running her own program at Oregon State, stands accused of some fairly ugly stuff.

This was pretty much known we’ve actually mentioned already, but Duke and UConn have renewed their women series. Now it’s official, and it’s through the 2014-15 season.

Good news or bad news perhaps, depending on your perspective, but Duke and UConn’s women’s teams have renewed their series.
