Potentially more bad news for Jeff Capel as the NCAA is investigating  phone calls made by former assistant Oronde Taliaferro.

It hasn’t been the easiest time for Jeff Capel, so perhaps working with the national U-18 team will be a nice change of pace.

We have no idea what’s going on in South Bend, but there was a series of rumors Tuesday that culminated with the suggestion that Mike Brey would be dismissed for a violation of Notre Dame’s code of conduct.

This is pretty stupid: Jeff Capel on thin ice after one bad year? Can’t see it.

It’s not a surprise, but Jeff Capel has seen another player enter the NBA draft early. Tiny Gallon, who’s currently under investigation for possibly taking money from an agent, has put his name in, but it’s not clear whether or not he has a legitimate agent now or not. He can still find some more players, but Jeff’s roster is getting pretty thin.

There are a lot of issues right now with Oklahoma basketball, including four defections, a murky resignation of an assistant, an investigation into possible agent activities, and that doesn’t count the poor season OU just concluded.

By ACC standards, making the CIT is no big deal.

Tommy Amaker has done a remarkable job thus far at Harvard.  And what’s cool is that he seems like he’d be happy to stick around.

Jeff Capel has done a tremendous job at Oklahoma, but this season he has had a number of discipline related issues with his freshman class.

At 13-9, Oklahoma is obviously off of last year’s pace, but Jeff Capel’s bunch picked up a tremendous win over #9 Texas Saturday and got a star turn from lightly regarded Ryan Wright.
