Duke got rivalry week under way in a nice way with a dominating win over UNC Monday night, winning 79-51. They outrebounded the Heels 52-28, and placed six players in double figures.

You’d have to think so with the Saints winning the Super Bowl, and in dramatic fashion, too. Great for the team, the city, and the NFL. The city is doomed in the long term, by nature (over the next 100 years or so it’ll basically become an island), but it’s good to see it bounce back and strut. Go N.O.!

At 13-9, Oklahoma is obviously off of last year’s pace, but Jeff Capel’s bunch picked up a tremendous win over #9 Texas Saturday and got a star turn from lightly regarded Ryan Wright.
