By contrast, the Warriors were pretty amazing down the stretch. They took the ball away from the Thunder repeatedly, hit clutch shots and reminded everyone just why they were seen as the odds-on favorite to win the title. They were legitimately great, and no one was better than Klay Thompson (41 points and 11-18 from three point range) and Stephen Curry (31 points, nine assists), who got his groove back.
Draymond Green got his back too and Andre Iguodola was quietly dominant on defense, especially in the closing minutes. Both Durand and Westbrook are probably sick of him by now.
The odds of a Duke-on-Duke matchup in the finals went down accordingly.
Kyle Singler, who would be Kyrie Irving's counterpart from the West, didn't play in this one.
The series now moves back to Cali for what promises to be an epic Game 7.
