There are some questions about his eligibility - he may have taken money from his Turkish team (he denies it).
We expect that will get sorted out and based on what we've heard, mostly in his favor.
Amazingly, State now has, by some accounts, the 6th class in the country.
Even better, if Malik-Abdul Abu backs out of the draft, as now seems likely, his rumored transfer may not happen: Yurtseven will play the post and let Abu focus on being a power forward.
His tweets Monday were pretty happy: "Everyone show the lil bro @OmerYurtseven5 some love!!!!!!" And NC State on the rise don't look so surprised."

According to Luke DeCock, the three Triangle schools have the best all around incoming talent since 2006.
Over in Cheatin' Hill, Justin Jackson has decided to pull out of the NBA draft.
Good decision: he wasn't likely to get drafted.
And up in Syracuse, Malachi Richardson took the opposite tack and signed with an agent.
This happened on the same day that Yurtseven chose State over Syracuse, so a rough day for Orange folk.
Perhaps the news of Carrier Dome renovations will ease the sting somewhat. It sounds impressive.
