Check out what coach Eric Spoelstra had to say:
"Even at a young age, I think you can tell a lot about a player at times in the tournament when you’re down, and there were some tough moments … and winning players rise in those situations. And you can’t quantify that with an analytic or a statistic, but just when you see it, you know and you want to have those types of players on your team."
That just about sums Winslow up.
The Heat are in a position to compete at a pretty high level, which will be great for Winslow. He and Tyus Jones were not as highly sought after as former teammate Jahlil Okafor, but they both have much better chances of winning next season than does Okafor, who joins a bizarre roster in Philly, which was made more so by a trade with Sacramento which sees the Sixers picking up Nik Stauskas, Jason Thompson and Carl Landry, which gives Sacto some cap room.
It's unclear what Philly is getting in return; it's also hard to see any of those guys being a huge help.
