The unfortunate nature of college basketball today is that as soon as the season is over someone will shove a microphone in your face and ask: will you be back next year?

You can't blame the media - everyone wants a scoop - but it's really unfair to ask that particular question minutes after a season ends, whether it's a happy or sad ending.
So naturally people have peppered Duke's Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones with it.
And the next question is: what about next year for Duke?
Well, that depends to an extent on the first question, but either way, Duke is back with some talent old and new.
People rightly got excited about Grayson Allen after his tremendous play in the title game.
He's going to be really good, better than most realize. Not everyone has seen his athleticism but it's more than he showed in the title game.
Duke will also get Amile Jefferson, Matt Jones and Marshall Plumlee back and Sean Obi will ditch the sideline fashion show for a jersey.
The Blue Devils also bring in Chase Jeter and Luke Kennard.
Jeter is very likely to start. He's not as polished as Okafor is, but he's solid and he has a very reliable jump hook. He'll be good.
Kennard, to an extent, is the wild card. He's justly celebrated for his scoring prowess, but he's much more than that. He's also a gifted passer. He and Allen will offer Duke a lot of athleticism, penetration and scoring from three point range on in. Our only question about him is how quickly he adjusts to the college game.
If Jones comes back, then Duke has four guards (counting Matt Jones) who would give Duke a tremendous backcourt. If Jones opts out, Duke will intensify the search for another point guard.
As we said, Jeter isn't the polished offensive force that Okafor is, but he's much more mobile. It's been awhile since Duke's had a really good running big man.
When you have Jeter, Plumlee, Jeffferson and Obi, you have a solid inside quartet. There's space for a more offensive forward, perhaps Kinston's Brandon Ingram, but we can see a very solid defensive team and an offensive team which is explosive - and possibly better than people expect.
