Pitt has pretty much mastered the art of weak scheduling, and this year will be no different: Pitt will take on the following teams: Niagara, Samford, Hawaii, Duquesne, St. Bonaventure, Manhattan, Oakland, Holy Cross, Florida Gulf Coast and Bryant.

As the ACC requires, Pitt gets Indiana in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, and the Panthers are also going to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational, which will have Arizona, BYU, host school Chaminade, Kansas State, Mizzou, Purdue and San Diego State.
The basic idea is that the Hawaii trip will compensate for the pathetic rest of the schedule, but that means winning a couple.
While we don't know anything about Chaminade's team, we can say this for the rest: with the arguable exception of Missouri, they are all very well coached.
Sean Miller, Dave Rose, Bruce Weber, Matt Painter and Steve Fisher are all very, very good.
And most of them will have had better battles than Pitt will have had.
