Spencer Rivers Commits To Irvine

Doc Rivers could be talking to the refs here or taunting his old boss Donald Sterling over his paramour, V. Stiviano - Stephen Dunn

Austin's kid brother will be an Anteater.

Austin River's little brother, Spencer and the last kid in an athletic family to graduate college, has made his choice: he'll be an Anteater.

Young Rivers will play at UC-Irvine, where, the link dryly notes, he'll be close to his dad Doc.

That's pretty funny, since Doc Rivers probably flies around 300 days a year. It is factually correct though, because it'll be easier to see him near work than near home in Winter Park, Florida.

And for Doc, who has had a completely bizarre summer courtesy of Donald and Shelly Sterling and their provocateur, V. Stiviano, having a family member nearby is no doubt a nice thing.
