Sometimes it's hard to understand why players transfer. Take Tyler Cavanaugh, who just left Wake Forest.

The Deacs lose Travis McKie to graduation and Arnaud-William Adala Moto, like Cavanaugh, to transfer.
That opens up 48.8 minutes per game on the front line. Cavanaugh, who played about a half last year, could've logged a lot of minutes.
For whatever reason, he decided against it.
Perhaps he doesn't feel comfortable with the new regime. We don't know a whole lot about Danny Manning the coach, but he is influenced by Larry Brown and Bill Self, among others, and that's not the way Cavanaugh is used to playing.
No word yet on where he's bound. You wonder if he wouldn't mind playing at Syracuse, which is basically his hometown school.
